BUN BUN
SHIRTS
A small-batch Bun Bun shirts, screen printed locally in Highland Park, California.
You can choose one of the shirts I’ve sourced, or bring your own favorite tee to the next Bun Drop. Vintage, worn-in, or simply one you already love, and I’ll print it for you.
The image printed on this shirt is a photograph taken by my grandmother Gertrud in Sweden in the 1960s–70s. Shot on film, it captures my mother walking through the frame — a small, ordinary moment carried forward in time.
The print is in Swedish Blue, a soft, classic blue that prints best on lighter-colored shirts.
Shirts are printed in batches and will be ready for pickup at the next Bun Drop.
In Stock shirts will be available for pickup on Dec 21st
Bring your own shirts will be available in January!
Pricing
• Bun Bun shirt (provided): $35
• Bring your own shirt: $22
Fabric & color notes
For best results, we recommend 100% cotton and light-colored shirts. Natural fibers take screen print ink best and age beautifully over time. Very dark, thin, or synthetic blends may print lighter or differently.

On garments, the fabric becomes part of the image — variations in tone are intentional and part of the design.

This shirt is meant to feel personal, something worn, lived in, and passed along.

BUN IT FORWARD
When we can, we donate buns to neighbors or local efforts in Highland Park. Know a local org or family that could use some buns? Send us a note — we’d love to hear from you.
Fika is a pause. A small act of care. A love letter to presence.
The Swedish tradition of fika is about friends and loved ones gathering over coffee and something sweet. Our buns are made to invite that same feeling: of slowing down, of connection, of being present.
The old photographs you see here are from my grandmother’s archive. She was a quiet force. A hobby photographer, a devoted bun baker, a true fika artist. She created home wherever she went.
This is my way of staying close to her. Of honoring where I come from. Of keeping something tender alive.
HI I'M SOFIA
Some things stay with us for life. For me, it’s my bangs, and a deep love for baking. I still remember the joy of receiving my first toy kitchen. It felt like magic. It still does.
The kitchen has always been the heart of my family, across both my Swedish and Greek roots. Baking wasn’t just a hobby, it was a rhythm. A way of showing care. A way to belong.
Bun Bun is my love letter to that feeling. A way to connect with my community. To offer something warm, handmade, and honest.
Now, I bake to stay connected. To my roots, to slowness, to something that feels real. And I believe a little bun can go a long way.
WRITE ME A LOVE LETTER
Because buns bring people together…sometimes literally.
Maybe you fell in love at first bite. Maybe you just want to say hi. Maybe you're my future bun ;)
Whatever’s on your heart: a flirt, a thank you, a fika fantasy. Leave me a little love letter.
I read every single one (preferably with a bun in hand).
